Hey everyone,
So, as promised I did some recipe testing this past weekend. And boy do I have a treat for you today. So the weather this weekend was a bit gloomy, I was feeling VERY autumnal so the slow cooked came out from the back of the cupboard. I love putting random ingredients in there and 8 hours later it turns into a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- Any type of beef will do frankly, we used a roasting joint,
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 white onion finely sliced
- 1tbsp chopped rosemary
- 1 glass of red wine
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 large glass of water
Method
You can sear the beef first before putting it in the slow cooker, but I didn’t bother. Just bung all the ingredients into the slow cooked, stir well to combine, and cook on a low heat for 8 hours.
It’s that simple guys. You’ll know its cooked when the meat falls apart. I then removed the beef from the slow cooker, and blitzed the sauce to make a gravy, I served with roast potatoes and veggies!!!
