Mug cakes are so popular right now, they are all over Pinterest and Instagram. When we were in Las Vegas last year we picked up a mug cake recipe book. It’s by Monica Sweeney, there are so many recipes to choose from, but this one is so simple and perfect for a quick sweet treat.
Depending on your mug size I find this makes enough for 2 separate mugs.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Self Raising Flour
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp beaten egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Mix all of the ingredients together until fully combined. Microwave on a high heat for 1 minute or until the top is just dry.
