Garlic and Mozzarella Pull Apart Bread

I first saw this creation one day whilst scouring through Pinterest for inspiration. It is such an easy recipe, and anyone can make it, its great for dinner parties, when you’re all sat round a table with a bottle of wine. I’ve seen so many variations online, but this is my fave…

Ingredients

  • Large crusty bloomer bread loaf
  • 25g melted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Mozzarella

Method

Pre-heat your oven to 180ºc.

Using a bread knife cut your loaf in slices, but leave a 1cm gap at the bottom, so you don’t go all the way through, then carefully slice in the opposite direction, so you get small cubes. Be careful not too cut all the way through, you want the bread to stay together.

Next chop a ball of mozzarella into small pieces and stuff these pieces into the slices you have made. Mix the garlic and butter together with a pinch of salt and pepper, and pour over the bread. Cover with tin foil and put it in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the mozeralla has melted, making sure the garlic doesn’t burn on top.
