Happy Sunday everyone,

Sorry I haven’t done a blog post this week. Its been so hectic, I just haven’t had the time.

I’ve been trying to be really organised with Christmas this year. I already have all the presents for my niece and 3 nephews sorted! We usually get them toys, but I just feel like doing something different this year. I’ve bought a personalised baking set for my nephew, a headband making kit, and lip balm making kit for my niece, and a penguin sewing set for my other nephew.

I’m spending Christmas Day with my In-Laws this year, its my first time cooking Christmas dinner, so i’m trying to be super organised so I don’t get too stressed.

I’ve also had my mother-in-laws birthday, we bought her a Yankee Candle, I spent ages in the shop choosing which one to buy, I went with clean cotton, and bought a medium jar for myself. We also bought her some fancy chocolate from Hotel Chocolate!

Then last night I had my family ‘come dine with me’ night. We do this twice a year, each time with a different theme. It was my Brothers girlfriend Kirsty’s, first time experiencing it, I just hope we haven’t scared her off, with how competitive we all are!!!

We picked a course per couple and then 2 countries, one country was a drink and the other was the food.

We made a Moroccan drink and a Vietnamese main meal. We had so much fun planning it all, and getting quite drunk testing the drinks. I’ll do a separate blog post with the recipes.

We had such a good time, I was going to post the pictures, however they really didn’t turn out too well because of the lighting.

I think the highlight was my Mum bringing out her Sicilian Lemon ice cream with a frozen bowl made with flowers. It was incredible.
