In the second post detailing products which I love, i’m going to be discussing the magical ingredient which is BAKING SODA…

Now, most people will have a pot of this stuff lurking in the back of your store cupboard, but not all of you are aware, it can be used is many other ways. Here. i’m going to detail some of things I use baking soda for.

Exfoliator…Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with water or a cleanser, and you have an amazing exfoliator. I rub this over my face in small circular motions, and then wash off with warm water, and my skin has never felt smoother.

As a cleaner. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda to some water, and you’ve got yourself an amazing cleaning solution. This is great to clean mirrors, windows, windscreen wipers on your car to name a few. Mix in some lemon juice or vinegar for an even deeper clean.

Stop unpleasant smelling drains. Pour 1 litre of boiling water down the drain, and then sprinkle 1 tsp of baking soda, over the plug hole. Next squeeze the juice of 1 lemon over the drain, and pour another litre of boiling water down the drain. This will leave your sink smelling lemony fresh.
